Berezovske reported on Mount Carmel's Veterans Day activities. He said the camp submitted information for the borough's 150th anniversary time capsule, which is buried in the Town Park. Hugh Jones, treasurer, reported the camp is in good financial order.

Garfield Camp, chartered Aug. 9, 1883, is the oldest veteran-affiliated organization in Mount Carmel. It was named in honor of the country's 20th president, who served as a major general during the Civil War.
