Robert M. Sides Family Music Centers acquires Haines Music

WILLIAMSPORT - Robert M. Sides Family Music Centers has acquired Haines Music in Selinsgrove.

Haines Music owners Pam and Nevin Garrett are retiring after 37 years in the music business,. Twenty-five Haines representative Rob Ensinger will continue to serve his schools as the newest member of the Robert M. Sides team.

Haines Music was founded in 1965 by Ward Haines who was a percussionist in the military band and graduate of the Conn Repair School in Elkhart, Ind.

Family owned and operated for more than 75 years, Robert M. Sides Family Music Centers has grown into a Music Trades Magazine Top 100 Music Store Chain and a NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) ranked Top 100 Music Store.

Sides provides sales, rentals and repairs to choral, orchestral and band programs in more than 300 schools in Pennsylvania and New York. It will incorporate the Haines business into their 52,000-square-foot headquarters in Williamsport.
