Of the many "appearances" Henry Hynoski has been making since his New York Giants won the Super Bowl last month, one of them is in a commercial for Blaise Alexander Nissan, Muncy.
Part of the dealership's "Anything for a Deal" campaign, the ad features Hynoski visiting the dealership looking to make a deal with Aubrey and Adam Alexander.
Adam looks wide-eyed at the item that the NFL star brings to trade, suggesting that perhaps he brought his Super Bowl XLVI ring. While the 30-second commercial does not show what the item is, an extended version of the commercial, a 1 minute and 20 second "webisode" playing on the dealership's website, shows more. In keeping with the premise of the campaign, Hynoski produces a bag filled with confetti scooped from Ford Field after the Super Bowl, which Adam Alexander accepts.
The extended commercial gives Hynoski a chance to jab at the Giants' Super Bowl opponents, too.
"Have I got something for you," Adam Alexander says to Hynoski. "Could I interest you in a Jeep Patriot?"
"A Patriot? Uh, no thanks. How about something else?" Hynoski responds.
The commercial ends with the local hero paying homage to one his memorable moments in the game: a fourth-quarter recovery of a Giants fumble.
As Hynoski goes over some paperwork, Adam strolls in with a football, which he drops. As it rolls on the ground, Hyno yells "Fumble!" and leaps out of his seat and rushes toward the ball.
