Police: Man pointed gun
RINGTOWN - A Mount Carmel man is accused of pointing a 9mm handgun at a Ringtown man late Friday night in Schuylkill County.
State police at Frackville said Bradley S. Rumbel, 23, was arguing with Paul G. Rumbel, 46, at about 11:30 p.m. at 214 Pattersonville Road, Union Township, just southeast of Ringtown, when he pulled the gun from his back pocket.
Troopers said the elder Rumbel responded by punching the younger man in the face and pushing him out the front door of the home.
Bradley S. Rumbel is charged with simple assault, police said.

HUMMELS WHARF - State police at Selinsgrove are investigating the theft of a woman's credit card number, used to make a online purchase from a jeweler.
Troopers said the number was reported stolen from a 19-year-old from Sunbury and used to make a $21.16 purchase Feb. 22 from Zales at the Susquehanna Valley Mall.
